Ursula Trimming, Esq., as the firm’s founding and lead attorney, has been professionally dedicated to the assistance of employers, intended immigrants and their families seeking the opportunities, standard of life and in many cases, the safety offered by the United States. Ursula and her law firm provide a full-service range of services covering every aspect of Immigration and Nationality Law. She regularly practices before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Ursula has appeared as a noted speaker on Immigration Law and its many facets before professional and community organizations. She has maintained professional membership in the New York State Bar, Arizona State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Ursula’s immigration practice has seen her represent clients from an extensive variety of backgrounds and circumstances from numerous countries worldwide. Through her employment-based immigration practice, Ursula has assisted companies that range in size from multinational corporations to startups. She has also helped hundreds of individuals with their family-based cases, marriage cases and naturalization cases, all with a perfect success rate. Ursula is sensitive to the specific demands that each prospective client faces when seeking immigration benefits and is familiar with the requirements to render approvals.
Prior to law school, Ursula earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Arizona State University along with a Minor in Italian and an International Business Degree Certificate. Thereafter, she graduated cum laude from New York Law School. While earning her law degree, Ursula was a Public Interest Fellowship Recipient and had membership in the Moot Court Honor Society, Jessup International Law Moot Court Society, International Law Student Association and had a prominent position on the International Review journal.
Ursula is a first generation attorney whose parents immigrated from India in the early 1970’s. When she is not assisting her clients, Ursula is spending quality time with her husband, two children and dogs. She loves to travel, cook, hike and enjoys learning about different cultures from her clients.
Sarah D. Trimming, Esq.
Immigration Attorney
Sarah D. Trimming, Esq. has been an immigration attorney since 2012 when she joined the Law Offices of Ursula Trimming, Esq. as an associate. She has represented individuals and U.S. businesses with a variety of immigration benefits. For instance, she has assisted clients with employment-based, family-based cases, and marriage cases. She has successfully assisted her clients obtain employment-based visas such as E-1/E-2 treaty traders and investors, H-1B specialty occupation workers, J-1/H-3 trainees, L-1 intercompany transfers, R-1 religious workers and O-1/EB-1 individuals with extraordinary abilities. Sarah understands that each individual and company is unique and works diligently to find the best immigration solutions to truly fit her clients’ needs. She enjoys assisting clients through major personal transitions that will profoundly transform their lives and the lives of their families for the better in the U.S.
Prior to law school, Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications from Boise State University in the Boise State’s Honor’s College program. Thereafter, she graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where she received awards for excellence in Criminal Law and Trial Advocacy. After law school, Sarah worked as an associate for Gaffin & Mayo, P.C. where she litigated criminal and civil cases in New York Supreme Court, and most notably won a precedent setting case in New York’s Appellate Division, Second Department.
Sarah comes from a family of attorneys, including her grandfather, father, sister and sister-in-law, Ursula Trimming. When she is not in the office, Sarah enjoys sailing with her husband on their Tayana 37 and exploring new cities and ports.
